Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop stars A superstar who managed to fully transition from the country music scene to becoming an enduring pop culture icon and conquering the world in the process. The album propelled Swift to superstardom. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, Swift's popularity grew and she was able to enter the world of pop music with a clear sense of where she was a part of. Her name was always at the top of pop even after she changed her own style on her sister albums Folklore and Evermore in 2020.
